Vitruvian Engineering is a creative multidisciplinary engineering practice with employees in Toronto, New York City and Los Angeles. It prides itself on its close collaboration with architects to achieve intelligent, innovative structures and its diverse portfolio spanning from arts to institution, prototyping to housing, and inflatables to cast bronze.

01 Senior Structural Engineer

Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.

Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.

Perform detailed finite element analysis models for the structural evaluation of complex typologies including residential, institutional, and artistic based projects.

Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.

Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.

Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.

Developing project custom structural design and construction specifications.

Manage and oversee field observations with construction administration staff for client deliverable field reports.

Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.


02 Facade Project Manager

Analyzes façade performance with specialized software (i.e. loading, thermal analysis, condensation risk, geometry).

Researches materials and systems to determine specific project suitability.
Interprets building codes and project/design/construction specifications.

Prepares façade detailing in 2D and 3D format for client communication.
Assists in construction administration, responding to RFIs and organizes submittal logs.

Attends construction meetings, performs site inspections, and prepares field reports for client.

Interacts with team members and clients regarding project information.
Facilitates in business development and market research.

Produces and coordination construction project specific façade specifications for design and construction.









03 Senior BIM Drafter

Create 3D BIM models to a high level of accuracy.

Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities.

Clearly annotate, dimension and detail production drawings in conformance to Vitruvian standards and practices.

Setup and manage large sheets sets including revisions and markups for each project.

Plot drawings to pdf, dwg, or to paper plots.

Assist and direct BIM workflow.

Set up and geo-locate multiple models for a single project.
Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.

Use advanced tools for project collaboration across multiple disciplines in a BIM environment.

Interface with engineers, our clients, and other consultants through clear communication and drawings.

Interact with our clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.

Continued development of “best practices” for BIM.

04 Junior Structural Engineer

Assisting in conducting preliminary studies and preparing plans for all structural projects including but not limited to residential, commercial, institutional, sculptural projects.

Performing structural analysis tasks and design of building materials; including but not limited to steel, prestressed tensile systems, reinforced concrete, glass, timber and bespoke building material design.

Assisting in the preparation of construction documents (drawings and specifications) and ensuring all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations.

Performing onsite investigations of structures and developing reports detailing findings and assessments thereof.

Preparing meeting minutes and project progress reports.
Computing material quantities and developing construction cost estimates.

Performing other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Project Manager.


05 Executive Assistant

Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other company logistics.

Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information to senior executives.

Manage, coordinate, and arrange senior executives’ travel and travel-related activities, including hotel booking, transportation, and meal coordination.

Perform administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contact database.

Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business
Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite.

06 Office Manager

Maintain office efficiency by maintaining appearance of common areas, organizing procedures, handling correspondence, managing filing systems, and overseeing supplies and equipment.

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact in the reception area, keeping management informed of performance with routine and requested reporting.

Provide direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, maintaining filing system, mailing and shipping packages, and updating contact database and employee list.

Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfill office supply needs, maintain and manage vendors, and coordinate food delivery as needed.

Manage all aspects of the office’s space/infrastructure planning (moves, adds, and changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions as requested
